Mr. Justin Bedward is an experienced Life Sciences Consultant, having spent over 12 years in the clinical research industry in the various roles related to the management of clinical studies done in Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia.
Dane Bedward
Founder and CEO
Mr. Dane Bedward is an independent entrepreneur, investor and strategic business advisor focused on international commercialization of innovative Biopharma and Medical Device products. He is presently CEO of NBot Inc, an Executive Fellow with Mistral Venture Partners, Executive in Residence at Invest Ottawa and provides mentorship to various early stage companies.
Prior to founding the advisory company NBot Inc he was the Senior Vice-President International Strategic Development and General Manager Eurasia at Genzyme Corporation. He maintained responsibility for the international group’s strategic market development and planning process, including designing strategy and infrastructure to bring new products to market as well as managing government relationships. Prior to this role, Mr. Bedward was Senior Vice-President and General Manager of the international group for Genzyme’s Biosurgery business unit. He has also served as Senior Corporate Vice-President and General Manager of the company’s Americas group and founding President of Genzyme Canada.
Throughout his career Mr. Bedward has worked with other companies and institutions such as Nordion International, Johnson and Johnson, Flow Laboratories, and MacMaster University.
Mr. Bedward presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Capital Angel Network, the Board of Governors at University of Ottawa, the Board of Directors for the Ottawa Life Sciences Cluster, has served on the Board of Trustees for Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, the boards of the New England Canada Business Council, the Ottawa Life Sciences Council and Neurobiotec.
Mr. Bedward speaks English, French and intermediate level Spanish.
Justin Bedward
Principal Consultant
Mr. Justin Bedward is an experienced Life Sciences Consultant, having spent over 12 years in the clinical research industry in the various roles related to the management of clinical studies done in Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia with PRA International. With previous focus on regulatory compliance and site recruitment, setup and review, Mr. Bedward has working experience in many clinical indications such as Biosurgery, Gastroenterology, Genitourinary, Hematology, Neurology/CNS and Oncology. He is presently the Principal Consultant of NBot Inc and also consults in clinical research, information technology and the personal health & wellness industry.
Prior to joining NBot Inc he was an independent marketing, sales and re-branding adviser in the personal health & wellness industry. He has also spent time as an information technology consultant specializing in IT systems, branding and web presence for commercial enterprises as well as a Business Technology Services & Management specialist with Emtec.
Mr. Bedward speaks fluent English and French.
